movin [Mar. 30th, 2007|02:35 pm]
Meghan and I have decided to rent a house together. I'm pretty excited about it. Its a super awesome house in edgewood, right behind the edgewood town centre. The lease starts May 1st, so i'm moving everything to meghan's house first, then moving it all to the new place next month.
So i'm almost done moving everything from my house to meghan's basement.
Maybe just a carload or two more and the old house will be done.
I can't wait to do this all over again. NOT

Ok yea, sweet the state is actually being released after all these years. But, iTunes? C'mon MTV, you don't want to take a chance on releasing dvds? iTunes is great and all....wait, no it isnt, it's a piece of shit, and even if I buy these episodes on there (WHICH I WON'T) I can only watch them on my computer or my goddamn ipod.

still no car.
seriously what the hell.
it's been 4 weeks and 2 days.
after a week i should have just demanded my money back and went somewhere else but now i've waited this long, it would seem silly to give up now.
i'm basically mad 24/7, and if you know me, you know i never get mad about anything
i'm done talking about it.

cars [Aug. 4th, 2006|01:15 pm]
So my Acura died a couple weeks ago, July 16th to be exact. I spent the whole week looking for a new car to buy and I ended up buying this 2001 VW GTI from a VW dealer on that Saturday (the 22nd). The car needed to be inspected so they said to just come by one day and they'll inspect it real quick and I'll be good to go. That was on Tuesday the 25th.
They still have my car there, they've had to order a couple parts and whatnot, I was ok with it because I figured it would take like two days at the most to fix it, but they STILL have it, and last time I called them to find out what was wrong this time the dude didn't really answer me at all. So I'm pretty much really pissed that they are taking this long to fix a couple things on my car, I figure they are just being really lazy about it.
It took them 2 days to order a part, 1 day to change a hose, 1 day to check the car again, 2 days to order another part, 1 day to change a valve, 1 day to check the car again, 1 day to replace the catalytic converter, I dont know what the hell they did yesterday or today, probably sitting on their asses.
Needless to say I'm never going back to Rohrich for anything ever again.

good deeds [Jul. 26th, 2006|10:22 am]
Today on the way to work there was a big moving truck stopped on the right lane in the middle of the liberty tunnels. One dude was putting up those orange triangle hazard things. I figured the truck was broken down. As I was going around I saw that there was a broken down car in front of the truck, and all of the moving people were out helping the person in the car.

When my car died, I was sitting in the middle of Brookline Blvd with my flashers on, some nice person coming in the other direction parked his car and helped me push my car off to the side of the road.

It's nice to see good friendly people are still around.

stuff [Jul. 14th, 2006|10:29 am]
[Current Location |work]

So, I'm pretty anal about the stuff that I own.
I don't like it when other people touch it, usually.
Like with my comics, I handle them like they are precious delicate little baby kittens. But when someone else goes to read them and I see them put a little crease in them from holding the page too hard I'm like WTF ARE YOU DOING!!!
Or when someone is reading one of my books and they open it an crease the spine.
I have a shelf that holds all of my dvds in the living room in my house.
When my roomates borrow a dvd and it's gone for more than a couple days I freak out.
What could they possibly be doing with my dvd that they cant put it back on the shelf?? One of my dvds was put back, but the top of the box was smashed and theres a big crease in it!
I bought some plates when we first moved into the house, and about a week later there was a big chunk broken out of one of them.
When I let someone borrow something and it comes back with a little defect, I kinda don't really want it back because its been tainted.
Etc., etc.

Am I the only one that is careful when I use things?
If I broke it I'd be ok with it because it was my fault, but it was someone elses fault and I get mad about stupid crap like that.

also i'm trying to get free stuff again: like this xbox 360

Tea Time! [Apr. 25th, 2006|03:07 pm]

I got this vanilla chai tea at the grocery store the other day, and i gotta say, i'm hooked on it.
Steep that tea for like 5 minutes, pour in a little milk and 2 teaspoons of sugar, and you'll be tasting what would be god in the form of hot liquid in a mug. Either that or if you liquified a snickerdoodle cookie.
In other tea news, i started drinking irish breakfast tea every morning when i wake up. I know, i'm not irish, isnt that funny?!
